So I am not sure what happened yesterday, but all I remember is being taken from my Mommy and Daddy and getting put to sleep by some strange people. Next thing I remember I woke up and my throat hurt soooo bad! I also had a cut on the outside of my neck. It hurt to cry, swallow, or cough. Though every once in awhile they would put some stuff in the tube hooked to my foot that would make me feel like I am floating.
The worst part is that they wouldn't let me eat. It was a pretty long night for me and Mommy and Daddy. They finally let me eat an hour ago. However they wanted me to eat with a camera down my nose. I wouldn't do it. But after they took it out, I was all about eating. I feel much better now and am ready to take a nap.
It is kind of crazy I can breath so much better now. Other than the sore throat I am very comfortable. My heart and lungs don't have to work so hard. I heard the doctor say today that my airway went from 1-2mm to 5-6mm (a normal airway is 6-7). I also still can't cry or make any sound, but they say I will get some voice back. You are lucky I an a genius baby and can read and write and can type you this letter.
Love,
Connor
