Just wanted to let everyone know that we got to come home on Friday. He had a bronch done Friday morning and the doctor says everything was healing wonderfully. We couldn't be happier. Connor is doing excellent and it like a new baby. I guess not being able to breathe can make you a little fussy.
We will have another bronch here locally in two weeks to check on how everything is healing again. We are still not sure what the long term plan is for this as no child has had this done long term yet, but we are very optimistic. If he does not regain function he may need to have the surgery redone as he grows or another type of corrective surgery may be needed. We still pray everyday that his cords will regain function.
We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. They came to good use.

That's fantastic! Jonah is having rib graft surgery in just over a week for his VCP. I am so excited and anxious to have his trach out. I hope Connor keeps well and that his stridor goes away. All the best x
